About the Role
AECOM's Water Infrastructure Team in New South Wales is expanding due to significant contract awards. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading experts and collaborate with interstate and international offices, contributing to sustainable outcomes for clients and communities.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in technical practice leadership for the civil group.
- Provide guidance to the team and mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Manage and complete projects from inception, including bidding, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across various sectors.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications & CPEng.
- Ideally, 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects including civil water networks, hydraulic/pump selection, transient analysis, buried structural pipe calculations, and thrust block design.
- Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
- Passion for delivering high-quality work, mentoring, leadership, collaboration, and excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
