About the Role
The Client Implementation Manager will plan, prioritize, and execute the implementation of new Alpha client business. This role is crucial for supporting State Street AlphaSM, a platform redefining investment lifecycle performance by connecting front, middle, and back offices.
Responsibilities
- Work in a leadership role on client facing Alpha implementation programs.
- Oversee and manage significant elements or phases of a client implementation program.
- Plan and proactively monitor program progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions.
- Support the Client Implementation Executive in ensuring timely program delivery.
- Communicate guidance and decisions from Oversight and Leadership groups to Program and Product owners.
- Support the design of program milestone planning and sequencing of phases.
- Make decisions and recommendations to the Client Implementation Executive and the Client to ensure successful program delivery.
- Provide insight for solutions, develop in-depth project/product knowledge, and define fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Support capturing business requirements and agreeing on Target Operating Models.
- Support the Client Implementation Executive in managing program risk and change control.
- Ensure the delivery of new capabilities or services on time and within budget, adhering to program plans and governance.
- Manage dependencies, reporting, and interfaces between initiatives as part of the program milestone plan.
- Report program progress at regular intervals to the Client Implementation Executive Lead, internal steering, and external steering committees.
Requirements
- Prior experience supporting large complex programs.
- Comfortable leading others without hierarchical connection.
- Experience managing organizations through significant transformation and change.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships at senior levels.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and implementation of front, middle, back office and data solutions within the investment management industry.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements and vice versa.
- Ability to work in a team environment, secure team and stakeholder buy-in, and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back office functions.
- Experience with front-to-back investment servicing and operations functions is preferred.
- Experience with Agile software development, highly configurable systems and leading testing techniques.
- Ability to travel across the region as required.
