About the Role
This internship offers hands-on training from seasoned managers and mentors to learn the nuances of key functions and departments within a leading commercial insurance company. It provides opportunities to develop professionally in a corporate workplace, including programming to improve presentation, networking, and communication skills. Interns will interact with peers in an intensive 10-week program designed to foster understanding of full-time career opportunities at Starr.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to core functions within the Property/Casualty industry (Claims, Underwriting, Audit, IT, Marketing, HR, etc.).
- Support business needs and gain an understanding of the industry and business, depending on the assigned department.
- Present a final Capstone project summarizing key takeaways and accumulated knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Risk Management or Insurance major preferred.
- Relevant coursework preferred.
