About the Role

Hupo is building AI products that help enterprise banks and insurers improve how their frontline teams identify opportunities, make decisions, and serve customers. This role will take Hupo's agentic automation capabilities from concept to a product line, working at the intersection of AI, enterprise workflows, and regulation.

Responsibilities

  • Take agentic automations from concept to a product line, owning roadmap, prioritization, OKRs, and outcomes for decisioning capabilities.
  • Own the governance harness for agentic AI, defining evaluation, evidence, and certification processes.
  • Design autonomy within regulation for clients in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
  • Build on shared infrastructure, defining capabilities needed for automations and collaborating with platform engineering.
  • Go deep with enterprise BFSI customers to understand workflows, structures, and constraints, translating them into products.
  • Lead a squad of engineers and a designer to ship and iterate fast while maintaining high standards for evaluation and safety.
  • Operate AI-native by using AI tooling by default to multiply output.
  • Use data to define success, track progress, and raise the bar for automation capabilities.

Requirements

  • Built LLM-powered decisioning or automation systems in practice, shipping real products.
  • Experience making AI system decisions trustworthy through evaluation harnesses, guardrails, human review workflows, and audit evidence.
  • Sound judgment about autonomy in high-stakes settings, with the ability to articulate and defend reasoning.
  • Fluent in underlying stack: prompting, retrieval, and evaluation.
  • Reach for AI tooling by default to compress work and demonstrate its use.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and take ownership without being told what to do.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, translating between technical, commercial, and compliance audiences.
  • Deep domain knowledge in insurance, wealth management, or financial services sales and servicing (Nice-to-Have).
  • Enterprise SaaS experience, especially deploying into large regulated institutions (Nice-to-Have).
  • Experience with lead management, CRM intelligence, sales operations tooling, or recommendation and matching systems (Nice-to-Have).
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks in financial services (Nice-to-Have).
