About the Role
This role is for a CDL Driver responsible for unloading and delivering products to customers, performing vehicle inspections, and operating commercial motor vehicles and material handling equipment. The position involves picking up returned products, completing paperwork, and other assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Unload and deliver products to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle.
- Operate conveyors and carts.
- Securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Pick up returned products, including payments and pallets.
- Complete delivery and pick up paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Must have 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, OT, Holidays.
- Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and climb.
- Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
