Responsibilities

Architect the master vision for global data center designs.
Author, refine, and enforce global engineering standards and design guidelines.
Create and review complex site campus masterplans, spatial building configurations, and high-density critical infrastructure layouts.
Act as the technical cornerstone and lead cross-functional design workgroups.
Own the engineering due diligence process for new site selection.
Collaborate with strategic vendors, manufacturers, and outsourced design consultants.
Serve as the chief technical point of contact for complex engineering decisions.
Present technical strategies clearly to senior leadership, local authorities, and hyperscale clients.
Create building and site electrical drawings.
Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale data centers.
Provide electrical design oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive sustainability initiatives.
Manage large-scale, multi-site projects across global regions.
Collaborate with mechanical engineering, architecture, structural engineering, network, controls, and operations teams.
Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure all electrical systems meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
Act as the main point of contact for all electrical systems-related decisions.
Ensure all electrical designs and systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and environmental requirements.
Assess and mitigate risks related to electrical system failures.
Lead root-cause analysis and provide technical solutions for system failures.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations in data center electrical engineering.
Develop and refine electrical design standards and guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
10+ years of progressive engineering experience.
At least 8 years strictly focused on hyperscale data center architecture, physical design, and engineering integration.
Demonstrated success leading the engineering and design execution of multiple large-scale, multi-site global data center projects.
Stellar communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize deeply complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable, and data-backed design blueprints.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
At least 5 years focused on data center design and operations.
Proven track record of delivering electrical systems for large-scale data center projects.
Extensive experience with software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CFD, etc.).
Expertise in sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost-saving measures related to data center mechanical systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
Strong ability to influence and manage key stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations teams.
Demonstrated success in analyzing program data, defining KPIs, and reporting on success metrics.
Ability to work in both office environments and active construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols.
