Requirements

  • A command of the English language and a passion for making copy engaging and readable.
  • At least 5–10 years of experience copyediting and managing copydesks for publications with both print and digital platforms.
  • Comfortable and confident editing long, complex feature stories on scientific subject matter.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to dig into unfamiliar material.
  • People-management experience and the ability to lead a team through tight, recurring deadlines.
