About the Role
As a pivotal member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, you will coach and lead recruiting professionals from sourcing top-tier talent to negotiating offers. You will leverage innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of talent and collaborate closely with business leaders to ensure alignment on business objectives and delivering results.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic recruitment plan to achieve the workforce needs of today and to sustainably serve our future growth
- Partner with senior leaders in the business to identify organizational talent needs in a technology centered, data driven and digitally oriented organization
- Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration inspiring team members to perform at their best, leveraging diverse strengths and talents to achieve shared goals
- Partner with the talent brand team to position Capital One as a destination for top talent
- Deliver with impact and operational excellence in a high performing team with a process optimization and metrics driven mindset
- Drive a positive candidate experience from application stage to joining on day one
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing
- 5+ years of experience in Client Management
- 2+ years of experience in People Management
- Strong pulse on the recruitment landscape for key job families (Process Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Legal and Compliance)
- Strategic orientation with proven ability to set a vision, chart a path and execute with high impact
- Proven track record of successfully leading high performing teams, demonstrating the ability to cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Influential partner who leads with data informed solutions to obtain buy-in from multiple stakeholders and inform business decisions
- Strong bias for optimization and driving continuous improvement
- Highly proficient with use of recruitment tools (e.g. Workday) and technologies (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter)
