About the Role

This sales professional will be responsible for prospecting, developing relationships with customers, and acquiring new business. They will understand customer business objectives and risk tolerances to develop energy hedging strategies and energy plans for Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and contact high-level decision makers in respective businesses.
  • Cultivate client relationships with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Present information clearly and confidently to groups and key decision makers.
  • Understand customer business objectives and price risk tolerances.
  • Develop energy hedging strategies that match customer needs.
  • Travel as necessary to meet business needs.
  • Attend training, all-hands meetings, and other meaningful engagements in person.
  • Develop energy plans and strategies for Fortune 500 companies.
  • Prepare presentations and close sales transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A wide network of contacts within the business community, federal government, elected officials, and public interest groups.
  • Organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • 5 years of business experience, preferably in sales.
