About the Role
The Director of Strategy will lead enterprise-level strategic planning and execution initiatives to drive long-term growth, value creation, and competitive advantage for IEM. This role partners with executive leadership to develop, evaluate, and implement corporate, business unit, and growth strategies, and oversees complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of corporate and business-unit strategy, including long-term strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational improvement programs.
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to the Chief of Staff, CEO, and executive leadership team on matters related to corporate strategy, market positioning, and enterprise performance.
- Direct comprehensive market, industry, and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, risks, and strategic implications for the business.
- Lead inorganic growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, encompassing target identification, diligence coordination, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
- Oversee enterprise performance management by defining key performance indicators, reviewing financial and operational data, and recommending strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives involving finance, operations, sales, engineering, and external advisors to ensure effective execution and alignment with corporate priorities.
Requirements
- Analyze financial, operational, and market data to develop actionable strategic recommendations
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior professional staff
- Present complex analyses to senior executives and stakeholders
- Developing Financial Models to drive executive decision making
- Performing and negotiating with large contract value vendors
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
