Responsibilities

Craft exceptional cocktails with precision and flair.
Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages.
Maintain a pristine and organised bar environment.
Ensure every service is seamless and refined.
Deliver elevated, personalised experiences.
Manage bar mise en place, stock control, opening and closing procedures, glassware presentation, cleanliness and maintaining an organised and well-presented bar throughout service.
Minimise wastage and understand the importance of responsible alcohol service.
Confidently manage multiple orders while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Requirements

Solid experience behind the bar.
Strong working knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar set-up.
Ability to consistently execute drinks to recipe and luxury standards.
Ability to work at pace during busy services while maintaining accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
Experience with flair bartending, cocktail creation and premium spirits will be highly regarded.
Enjoy interacting with guests, reading the room and creating personalised experiences through genuine conversation, product knowledge and confident service.
Natural showmanship and enthusiasm bring energy to the bar while maintaining the polished, sophisticated approach expected of Sofitel.
Commercially aware.
Flexible and dependable, embracing a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
Hold a current RSA certificate.
Full Australian working rights, allowing you to work without restriction.
