About the Role
You will act as the product champion, translating founder vision, user needs, and technical feasibility into a viable product within resource constraints. This role involves navigating the complexities of early-stage product development where assumptions are plentiful and data is scarce.
Responsibilities
- Identify problems through user and customer research before focusing on solutions.
- Define product vision, MVP, and prioritize development efforts based on evidence.
- Maintain a problem-centric focus within the team, guiding engineers, designers, founders, and customers.
- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and inform product decisions.
- Develop meaningful roadmaps that reflect trade-offs and delivery capabilities.
- Align product strategy with business models, customer value, and venture strategy to ensure commercial viability.
Requirements
- Possess strong product instincts developed over 5+ years in product management, including judgment and pattern recognition.
- Experience in zero-to-one product development, including discovery, conceptualization, launch, pivoting, or scaling from scratch.
- Ability to create structure and manage priorities in ambiguous and changing environments.
- Demonstrated independent thinking, willingness to challenge assumptions, and engage in constructive debate.
- Capacity to learn new industries and technologies rapidly to ask pertinent questions.
