About the Role
You will be part of a team of 35 sensor, IoT, and hardware engineers, working with cutting-edge technologies to support the next tech unicorn in the defense sector. You will help develop one of the first multinational drone early warning systems, joining a multinational, pragmatic, hands-on team with a strong focus on innovation.
Responsibilities
- Successfully deploy complex products at customer sites, involving up to 6 weeks of travel.
- Validate, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software under live and unpredictable field conditions.
- Understand complex customer requirements, engage in technical pre-sales, and develop custom system adaptations.
- Monitor systems, resolve issues, and continuously improve observability.
Requirements
- EU citizenship is required due to security regulations.
- Officially registered in an EU country.
- Completed IT education.
- Practical IT experience (hardware/software) through jobs or personal projects.
- Experience with embedded Linux on various architectures.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of a programming language (e.g., C/C++, Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript, Zig).
- Fluent English; other spoken languages are a plus.
- Motivation to defend NATO borders with technical expertise.
- Stress resilience and ability to make good decisions in chaotic environments.
- 100% willingness to travel within the EU, especially to NATO's eastern borders.
