About the Role

Saab, Inc. has a Co-op/Intern (Spring-Summer 2027) opportunity in Systems Engineering for product development. The team designs, develops, and improves state-of-the-art products for Air Traffic Surveillance, military radars, and other Surveillance products.

Responsibilities

Apply coursework by solving practical engineering problems.
Develop experience in product design engineering skills.
Analyze, integrate, and troubleshoot complex electronic and software systems.
Be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
Support customers and engineers with system deployments throughout the world.

Requirements

2-3 years working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or mathematics from an accredited institution or relevant military education & training.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Familiar with systems containing software, network, firmware, and/or electronic components.
Linux and/or IP networking system skills.
Matlab, C++, Java or other programming experience.
Familiar with RF or electronic test equipment.
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
