About the Role
This is an 8-month internship opportunity where you will work with clients of various sizes and industries, developing strong professional relationships and contributing to multiple team engagements. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, executing, and completing tax and transfer pricing projects.
Responsibilities
- Working on client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, and completing tax and transfer pricing projects.
- Collaborating with associates and managers on tax and transfer pricing projects.
- Conducting detailed economic, financial, and accounting analyses demonstrating an understanding of transfer pricing concepts and method application.
- Evaluating intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans.
- Conducting financial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations.
- Performing industry and market research, economic valuations, and comparative financial benchmarking.
- Preparing and analyzing financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance using MS Word, Excel, and statistical sampling packages.
- Reviewing and analyzing GAAP financial statements.
- Interacting with client personnel to gather information.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- Business Major (including accounting, finance, economics and business management).
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Knowledge in financial statement analysis, valuations, quantitative analysis, industry analysis, and statistical sampling and econometrics.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid research and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
