About the Role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Lead, Workforce Intelligence to drive enterprise-level workforce insights and strategic storytelling for senior stakeholders. This high-visibility role partners directly with the Employee Success (ES) COO and Chief People Officer to shape how the enterprise understands and acts on workforce data. The work blends technical fluency with executive presence and consulting acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of board decks, QBRs, and ad hoc reporting for executive leadership that translate complex workforce data into clear strategic narratives.
  • Identify and surface proactive, forward-looking insights for the Employee Success Leadership Team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the ES COO and Chief People Officer, translating their strategic priorities into an analytics agenda.
  • Work across HR Business Partner and enterprise consulting teams to understand business context and prioritize high-impact analyses.
  • Synthesize workforce data, business context, and external benchmarks into compelling, decision-ready narratives.
  • Guide the technical approach for enterprise analyses, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Assess and prioritize incoming requests from senior leaders based on scope, urgency, and impact.
  • Contribute to the maturity of the Workforce Intelligence function's enterprise-reporting practice.
  • Actively use and champion modern AI tools to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and reporting workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in people analytics, workforce planning, or management consulting.
  • Direct experience presenting to senior executives or boards.
  • Proven experience building and delivering board-level or C-suite reporting.
  • Strong consulting skills — able to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple senior stakeholders, and translate strategic priorities into an analytics roadmap.
  • Expertise in basic coding (e.g. SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience organizing and synthesizing data across multiple sources with a high bar for accuracy.
  • Experience leading advanced analytics projects.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics, statistical or machine learning methods are a plus.
  • Experience partnering with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and other enterprise-level stakeholders across a large, complex organization is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI coding and analysis tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, Codex, or Snowflake Cortex, with a track record of applying them to real workflows.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging AI tools and techniques, and translating that exploration into practical improvements.
