About the Role
State Affairs is seeking a Product Manager, Enterprise, to design the 'operating system' for large-scale government affairs teams. This role focuses on how complex organizations consume information, collaborate, and integrate intelligence into their corporate ecosystems, addressing challenges related to signal-to-noise, organizational dynamics, ecosystem interoperability, and holistic value delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop product logic that prioritizes relevance over volume.
- Design for the complexity of large teams, addressing governance, permissions, information sharing, and collaboration flows.
- Own the strategy for platform integration with other software stacks (CRMs, ERPs, Communication tools).
- Identify features that help entire departments demonstrate value to the C-Suite.
- Write and run evals, prototype with code, understand model architecture tradeoffs, use AI agents to automate work, and use LLMs with MCPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
- 5+ years of professional work experience in Product Management, specifically within B2B SaaS or Enterprise software.
- Prior professional work experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating daily with engineering and design counterparts to ship software iteratively.
- Prior professional work experience balancing the conflicting needs of different user personas within a single client account.
- Prior professional work experience conducting user interviews and validation with high-value clients.
- Ability to map out complex workflows and identify bottlenecks in large organizations.
- Ability to define success metrics (KPIs), analyze user engagement data, and use quantitative insights to defend prioritization decisions.
- Knowledge of how to build extensible solutions and APIs rather than one-off custom features.
- Prior professional experience working corporate government affairs.
- Prior professional work experience in a start-up organization.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.
