About the Role
We build agents that shop for you, finding products across the open web and completing purchases end-to-end. You will own the architecture, code, deploys, monitoring, and on-call for systems that transact around the clock, working directly with our CTO.
Responsibilities
- Own checkout agents, including frontier-model computer-use agents driving live checkouts at scale and the machinery that supports them.
- Enhance product ingestion from hundreds to thousands of sources using self-generating, validating, and monitoring infrastructure.
- Develop search and ranking systems utilizing embedding-based retrieval, LLM query understanding, reranking, and caching for a dynamic catalog.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building backend and infrastructure systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience owning production systems end-to-end, including deploys, databases, and observability.
- Proven ability to fix systemic issues rather than just individual incidents.
- Experience with adversarial problems where systems actively work against you.
- Commitment to correctness due to the high stakes of customer transactions.
- Ability to work effectively without a finished specification and adapt to market changes.
