Home Instead offers top-notch non-medical care and companionship services for seniors, making us the leading provider worldwide. Our visits are at least an hour, and our award-winning training ensures Care Professionals deliver the best care. We match Care Professionals to clients based on mutual interests to build trust and provide personalized support.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and conversation.
• Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social events.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and assist with shopping.
• Cook healthy meals from raw ingredients.
• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with continence care.
• Consider and understand the point of view of the person with Dementia/Alzheimer.
• Assist with Morning and Evening routine.

Requirements

• Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
• Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs.
• Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice.
• Excellent timekeeping, organization, and reliability.
• Good hygiene practice, including personal hygiene and a smart appearance.
• Must obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
• Class 1 business insurance or reliable transport.
• Resident in UK.
• All Right to Work documents available.
• No sponsorship available.
• Care experience preferred.
