About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on product design leader to support the MoneyLion brand and shape its digital product experience. This role involves individual contribution and leadership, focusing on designing for the MoneyLion app and web experiences, while guiding global design teams. You will oversee and contribute to existing product execution, collaborating with product and engineering on scope, delivery, and quality. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior product designer with strong craft, deep Figma expertise, and a history of delivering thoughtful work. You should be comfortable switching between individual contributor and leadership roles, proficient with AI tools like Claude, and eager to explore and introduce new skills to enhance team workflows.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on design work on MoneyLion app features, with a focus on MoneyLion web
- Day-to-day oversight of designers across three regions, including reviews, critique, and unblocking
- Coaching junior designers to improve execution quality and consistency
- Driving MLDS 4.0 adoption across product teams and ensuring design and build alignment
- Ensuring designers have the necessary resources, clarity, and context for delivery
- Partnering with product and engineering on delivery, scope, and quality
Requirements
- Senior-level product design experience with strong craft and a track record of shipping work
- Experience leading or mentoring designers, preferably across time zones
- Deep proficiency in Figma, including design systems, components, and tokens
- Fluency with AI tools in daily practice (e.g., Claude) and curiosity for building internal tools and adopting new skills
- Comfortable balancing individual contributor work with team leadership
