About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to treat conservative and post-operative conditions in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Treat conservative and post-operative conditions.
- Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans.
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
- Design functional treatment programs for return to community activities.
- Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers.
- Perform other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certified Hand Therapist certification.
- Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
- Experience in hand/splinting for 1-2 years required if not a CHT.
