About the Role
Figma is seeking a Designer Advocate to partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. This role is central to empowering users through engaging content, meaningful interactions, and genuine advocacy, while also championing user voices internally to shape product evolution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers maximize Figma's potential in real product workflows.
- Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect modern team design and build processes.
- Foster relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives.
- Present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work.
- Monitor community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends, advocating internally to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Possess deep, hands-on expertise in Figma, modern product and visual design workflows, and design systems.
- Understand how design translates into development.
- Have experience working within cross-functional product teams, collaborating with engineers and partners.
- Be comfortable navigating evolving workflows and technologies, including design systems, tokens, AI-assisted design, and prototyping.
- Be passionate about the design community and a clear, compelling communicator.
- Be able to explain complex concepts and confidently engage audiences through public speaking.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in dynamic environments.
- Be comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
