About the Role
As a Hospice Liaison at Lifted Hospice, you will be the first point of contact for individuals and families considering hospice care. Your role involves building trust with healthcare providers and guiding families with clarity and compassion through a sensitive time. You will educate others on the benefits of hospice, ensuring timely support and a care journey rooted in dignity and trust.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute focused marketing and outreach plans to promote Lifted Hospice services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, and healthcare professionals.
- Represent Lifted Hospice through public relations efforts, community events, and targeted initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outreach efforts align with organizational priorities and market needs.
- Ensure all outreach activities comply with healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Play a key role in early-stage education and communication with families and referral sources.
- Work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, to support referral partners and community opportunities.
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare is required.
- Hospice, palliative care, or home health experience is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of hospice care, including philosophy, referral pathways, and regulations, is preferred.
- Background in post-acute healthcare sales (e.g., home health, senior living) and experience in community outreach, marketing, or public relations is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective outreach strategies within the healthcare community.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with physicians, facility staff, and community partners.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and educating both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role with strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and account activity in CRM systems.
- Professional, composed, and adaptable in sensitive or high-pressure situations.
- Collaborative, mission-aligned mindset with a strong commitment to follow-through and team unity.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto liability insurance.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
