About the Role
This role focuses on enhancing platform security through authentication, attestation, and image strengthening. You will establish physical anti-tempering and device integrity for scalable robotic deployments, working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors. This is a hands-on position, owning prototypes to production-ready software and standards.
Responsibilities
- Enabling authentication (Secure Boot, Verified Boot)
- Enabling attestation (DICE, measurements)
- Strengthening platform images using SELinux, seccomp, IMA, and immutable images
- Establishing physical anti-tempering
- Establishing device integrity
- Establishing physical security needs for scalable robotic deployments
- Owning early prototypes through production-ready platform software and technical standards
Requirements
- Strong background in operating systems development
- Proficiency in C programming
- Proficiency in kernel-level debugging
- Several years of hands-on Unix/Linux kernel development experience preferred
- Knowledge of security technologies including TPM, Secure Boot, kernel signing, and encryption frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of ARM, Intel, and AMD platforms and chipsets
- Familiarity with Python scripting for development and automation tasks
- Familiarity with Bash scripting for development and automation tasks
