About the Role
Serve as general manager of a single Franchise Performance Team (FPT), with ultimate responsibility for sales, profit, and turnover. Work hands-on with franchisees and company store reps to create sales goals and strategies, coach them on financial aspects, and advise on product mix for a balanced business. Provide direct supervision and coaching to team members and franchisees, while maintaining decision-making responsibility. Responsibilities
- Serve as general manager of a single Franchise Performance Team (FPT)
- Have ultimate responsibility for the sales, profit, and turnover for the FPT
- Work hands-on with franchisees and direct company store reps to create sales goals and strategies
- Coach franchisees and company store reps on the financial aspects of the business
- Advise on product mix to maintain a balanced business in terms of cash flow, margins, revolving accounts, and extended credit
- Provide direct supervision to all associate team members
- Coach team members and franchisees
- Maintain decision-making responsibility for FPTs
Requirements
- Prior Snap-on sales experience as a franchisee or company store
- Proven ability to learn and follow a process
- Experience in collections, marketing, business operations, and asset management
- Strong product knowledge, including features and benefits
- Interest in developing and fostering ongoing relationships
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel extensively
- State driver's license that has been valid for the last 36 months, with no major violations, and no more than two minor violations in the three years prior to hire
