About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our SMS team, responsible for building and scaling Braze’s SMS and RCS channels. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of these channels, from composition and sending to message responses and analytics, as well as supporting services for Chat messaging. You will ship high-value full-stack features, drive initiatives from concept to delivery, take ownership of key technical areas, solve complex problems, and ensure platform dependability amidst increasing traffic. We value engineers who collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and possess a continuous learning mindset.

Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Professional experience building distributed systems at scale
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms
