About the Role
Four Hands is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join their warehouse team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods, supporting both shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload containers and or trucks
- Handle finished materials and move them to appropriate storage areas within the warehouse
- Identify items on all paperwork, including customer orders, labels, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of lading
- Meet productivity requirements as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications
- Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
