About the Role

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking driven graduates for its Graduate Development Program in Operations & Supply Chain. This program offers immersive rotations, mentorship, and hands-on experience in manufacturing, logistics, and planning to develop skills for making a lasting impact in fluid-flow technology.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience across key operations and supply chain functions including production, materials management, logistics, procurement, and demand planning.
Apply lean principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver value to customers.
Contribute to building a resilient, digitally enabled supply chain that supports global growth.
Develop technical, analytical, and leadership skills through structured training and personalized mentorship.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
Candidates with a dual background in Engineering and Business/Operations Management are encouraged to apply.
Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in areas such as production planning, process improvement, logistics, procurement, or quality management is highly valued.
Strong problem-solving ability with exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or process mapping through coursework or projects.
Able to analyze data and identify efficiency opportunities.
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), data visualization tools, or simulation software is an asset.
Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
Able to document processes, share findings, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in group projects, labs, internships, or student organizations where teamwork was critical to success.
Willingness to learn new systems, adapt to operational challenges, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to take ownership of tasks.
Shows curiosity and persistence in driving improvements.
