About the Role
Seeking a Data Security Specialist to plan, design, enforce, and audit security policies and procedures to safeguard enterprise systems, files, and data. This role involves acting on security violations, staying updated on changing technologies, and recommending adaptations. The specialist will provide management with risk assessments and security briefings, evaluate security products, and oversee security awareness programs.

- Work with different owners to make sure they are compliant
- Work with the systems owners to be in good standing
- Set up queries to get the specific configurations
- Act on security violations
- Maintain knowledge of changing technologies
- Provide recommendations for adaptation of new technologies or policies
- Recognize and identify potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed
- Provide management with risk assessments and security briefings
- Evaluate and recommend security products, services and/or procedures
- Oversee security awareness programs
- Provide education on security policies and practices
Requirements
- Experience in PCI Compliance
- Experience querying data from different sources of technology to validate security configurations
- Coding experience with SQL to create queries
- Understanding of credit card processing
- Experience with Network devices, Workstations, Cloud, and Servers
- Experience with systems analysis, application development, database design and administration
- Experience with information security
- Knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms
