About the Role
SS&C GlobeOp is seeking an experienced Director/Senior Director to lead strategic relationships and service delivery for a major institutional asset management client in Europe. This role oversees loan administration services for Collateralised Loan Obligation (CLO) and leveraged loan portfolios, ensuring exceptional client service, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage client satisfaction and oversee the resolution of complex operational issues.
- Oversee end-to-end loan administration activities across CLO and leveraged loan portfolios.
- Coordinate activities across loan operations, middle office, treasury, custody, and technology teams.
- Provide loan administration oversight including trade processing, primary and secondary loan activity, corporate actions, interest and principal processing, paydowns and restructurings, agency communications, and portfolio maintenance.
- Ensure accurate cash processing across all client accounts.
- Provide senior-level oversight of cash breaks and unresolved reconciliation items.
- Maintain a strong control environment across all operational activities.
- Provide leadership across multiple operational and client-facing teams.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving global teams and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Loan Administration, Bank Loan Operations, CLO Administration, Structured Credit Operations, Fund Administration, Corporate Trust, or Agency Services.
- Significant experience managing large strategic client relationships.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing large operational teams and service delivery functions.
- Strong understanding of Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs), Broadly Syndicated Loans (BSL), loan settlement and servicing, cash reconciliation/management processes, waterfall calculations, corporate actions, trade lifecycle management, and loan documentation and market conventions (LSTA/LMA).
- Executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex client relationships.
- Experience working with large global asset managers and institutional investors.
- Knowledge of European and global regulatory requirements impacting alternative credit and CLO structures.
