About the Role

Support the business unit management in strategically developing the participation business unit, actively shaping change processes, and advancing important future topics. Analyze complex issues, prepare strategic decisions, and coordinate cross-departmental processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business unit management in fulfilling their strategic, organizational, and operational leadership tasks.
  • Analyze, prepare, and evaluate strategic issues.
  • Prepare and create decision and resolution proposals.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor strategic (special) projects.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental processes.
  • Ensure effective information and communication flow between business unit management, cluster management, staff units, and other internal and external partners.
  • Accompany change processes, restructurings, and organizational development measures.
  • Manage information and communication processes between business unit management, cluster management, and various interfaces.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on board, management, and leadership committee meetings.
  • Represent the business unit management in committees, working groups, and projects, and network in association and service provider committees (after internal agreement).

Requirements

  • High degree of self-organization and independent prioritization of the area of responsibility.
  • Confident action in complex and dynamic situations.
  • Experience in project management, analysis, support, and investigation.
  • Responsible handling of sensitive information and ensuring reliable, cross-departmental information and communication flow.
  • Strong communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining decision-relevant documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Initial experience in supporting organizational development or change management.
  • Sound knowledge of BTHG and SGB IX and the complex legal, technical, and structural contexts of integration assistance.
  • Identification with a diaconal value system and a respectful and participatory approach to people.
