About the Role
This internship program offers ambitious achievers the opportunity to support project teams in solving complex challenges for water resources, water quality, wastewater treatment, and recycled water planning for clients in the water environment, transportation, and industrial sectors. Interns will gain exposure to significant projects across the United States, potentially involving field work, technical report preparation, and design.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation issues.
- Get involved in significant projects throughout the United States.
- Engage in projects that may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, and design plans and specifications.
- Work on a variety of projects applying learned skills and calculations.
- Manage ongoing projects and communicate with team members and clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Visit project sites.
- Receive mentorship and advising.
- Network with employees and clients.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.
