About the Role
Resource Innovations is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our growing Software as a Service (SaaS) team. This hands-on technical lead will be instrumental in the design, development, and deployment of innovative cloud-based enterprise software for leading Energy organizations. We are looking for candidates passionate about product craftsmanship and making a global impact.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a scalable, efficient, and secure SaaS product using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a SaaS product aligned with business and customer needs.
- Ensure product adherence to industry best practices for performance, security, and scalability, with an emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across the platform.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of software development, focusing on products that support energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing in PHP (8.x) with an advanced understanding of object-oriented PHP and best practices.
- 6+ years of experience building software utilizing PHP frameworks, such as Laravel.
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Laravel's architecture and functionality.
- 4+ years of experience building software utilizing Vue or similar JS frameworks.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience building and developing single-page applications using composition API.
- Experience with state management and handling.
- Experience with component and modularized based design.
- Understanding of various build tools (e.g., Vite, npm).
- Experience implementing scalable SaaS platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Personal responsibility, self-motivation, and flexibility to adapt and maintain productivity, features, and stability.
- Knowledge of working within an agile team-based environment.
