About the Role
The Data Analyst Intern will assist in managing and maintaining the quality and integrity of all data, ensuring accuracy and currency of business partner, customer, supplier, and product data. This role supports the Master Data team by assisting with POS and Distributor data updates and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Food’s Core Values
- Collaborate with MD Team to provide end-to-end technology solutions implementation and enablement.
- Assist in updating and maintaining master data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness
- Utilize data governance practices to consolidate, detect duplicates, and manage data quality.
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality through regular audits and remediation processes using MDG.
- Assist in monitoring change requests to make sure they are moving through the process in a timely manner
- Generate and analyze reports on data quality and integrity
- Assist in POS and Distributor data management to ensure that it is current and accurate
- Support annual sales planning process and tools
- Special projects and other duties as assigned by the manager
- Collaborate effectively with key business decision makers and end users to resolve issues.
- Build strong working relationships with BPOs, Commercial team, Finance and Marketing
- Keeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming.
Requirements
- Post Secondary enrolment or a related field is required.
- Understanding of the Food or CPG industry is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, facilitation, and process management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- PASSIONATE and has a desire to learn, roll-up their sleeves and set an example as a “doer”
- Ability to prioritize and multitask multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABILITY
