About the Role
Take the next step in your healthcare career and make a meaningful impact alongside passionate teams! Superior Health Consulting is hiring a full-time Floating Medical Assistant to provide nearby clinics in Pflugerville and South Austin, TX, with valuable day-to-day support. You'll be scheduled to each location during the week.
Responsibilities
- Assist with various tasks to keep every day smooth and seamless
- Review patient charts
- Run diagnostic tests
- Update electronic health records (EHRs)
- Perform ANS and EKG testing
- Help patients feel calm and well cared for
- Communicate findings to the teams
- Work with providers regarding treatment
- Step in to help out however possible to keep clinics running optimally and patients happy
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Friendly, outgoing, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to float between different locations within the same general area
- Ability to work quickly and adapt easily in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a medical assistant - preferred, but we will train the right person
- Willing to jump in wherever needed to ensure positive patient outcomes
