About the Role

The Private Bank Associate (PBA) is a generalist position supporting executive-level clients with all their needs, including discussions and activities. PBAs manage the execution of client service activities, initiate and monitor account opening and asset transfers, handle client inquiries, and coordinate with specialists and service centers to deliver integrated service.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support Client Teams in delivering high-quality banking, credit, trust, fiduciary, and/or investment services to Private Bank clients.
  • Work with Trust Officer(s) to manage fiduciary/trust relationships and meet client needs.
  • Perform servicing and account maintenance activities, primarily trust/fiduciary-related, including accounting transactions, deposits, and transfers.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to Portfolio Manager(s).
  • Support activities such as investment action plans, new account reviews, and proactive account Reg. 9 reviews.
  • Fulfill client needs across all products and serve as a liaison for specialists and service centers for account setup, monitoring, maintenance, wire processing, business and credit card applications, foreign currency orders, credit and lending.
  • Coordinate with specialists (Trust, Family Office, Investments, Custody) and service centers to deliver integrated service and resolve issues.
  • Initiate and monitor client onboarding, including account opening and asset transfer; handle related inquiries, KYC refresh, digital engagement, and fulfillment.
  • Interact with clients to complete transactions (deposits, money movement, transfers) and account maintenance.
  • Manage and execute client transactions for business and individual Bank, credit, and investment products, ensuring adherence to audit, compliance, and timely execution standards.
  • Participate in Client Management Process (CMP) activities, supporting a branded client experience and meaningful interactions.
  • Develop referrals for credit and Bank products.
  • Support Client Team in sales support and administrative functions, including pipeline reporting, marketing, business development, client/prospect presentations, expenses, printing, faxing, calendar & email management, client events, communication, and travel & entertainment reservations.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including client verification.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with a financial institution focusing on client service and sales.
  • Ability to successfully complete assessment of critical skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAFE Act registration.
