About the Role
This role is responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect, as well as leading assigned employees. The position involves day-to-day leadership and supervision of a portfolio of customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirements.
- Supervise, train, coach, mentor, and lead assigned security personnel.
- Manage scheduling and overtime for staff.
- Review daily logs and incident reports.
- Assist in monitoring and developing staff performance, including evaluations and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping systems and records.
- Respond to emergencies and issues.
- Follow established emergency response and action plans.
- Maintain availability to assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
- Prepare required weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly manager reports.
- Assist in procuring and maintaining uniforms and equipment.
Requirements
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
- 1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience.
- 2-4+ years military experience with a favorable discharge.
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and problem-solve.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
