About the Role
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for the care, supervision, and safety of center children. Assists staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring health, safety, and nutritional education are integrated. Encourages self-esteem and independence for each child's development. Responsible for program operations in the absence of the Head Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Care, supervision, and safety of center children

- Keep classroom and playground clean, safe, and orderly
- Learn, implement, and follow all program policies and procedures
- Encourage self-esteem and independence for the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child
- Ensure that health, safety and nutritional education is integrated into the overall curriculum planning
- Responsible for program operations in the absence of the Head Teacher
