About the Role
Polène is seeking a Senior PR & Influence Coordinator to enhance brand visibility and engagement in Japan, reporting to the Japan PR & Influence Manager within a global team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR & communication strategies for the Japanese market.
- Build and manage local media relationships, including press presentations, press releases, and PR materials.
- Drive celebrity, influencer & KOL partnerships, managing gifting, collaborations, and relationships.
- Coordinate PR events & activations, including local events and support for marketing activations.
- Monitor PR performance & visibility, consolidating KPI data, media coverage, and campaign results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of PR experience in the fashion or beauty industry, luxury experience preferred.
- Established network of key Japanese media contacts and strong relationships with celebrities, influencers, KOLs, and industry stakeholders.
- Proven experience developing and managing celebrity and influencer partnerships.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
