About the Role
This role sits within the Remediation team, focused on driving improvements in Transaction Reporting through assessment, root cause oversight, management information, process optimization, and governance. A key focus is assessing reporting breaches to explore remediation options before closure and supporting broader team targets.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the Bank’s transaction reporting obligations across multiple global regulatory jurisdictions.
- Assessing multi-layered, aged, and blocked reporting breaches to establish viable remediation options.
- Exploring all reasonable remediation avenues before closure is considered.
- Producing management information.
- Conducting root cause analysis.
- Developing procedural and training documentation.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Understanding of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape is ideal.
- Familiarity with key regulations: EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, CFTC, and others.
- Preparedness to stay current on the regulatory reporting landscape.
- Experience in remediating transaction reporting issues, including back-reporting.
- Familiarity with key trade flow components.
- Experience in key transaction reporting systems and their interactions.
- Required project experience includes business analysis, project management, data analysis, and testing skills.
- Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working in Banking MO, Operations, or other relevant functions is preferred.
- Product-specific knowledge inside or outside of transaction reporting operations.
