About the Role
As a Foreman at Groundworks, North America’s leader in foundation solutions, you will lead the installation crew from start to finish, owning safety, quality, productivity, and team performance. You will coordinate daily operations, mentor your crew, and ensure installations meet high standards. This role offers responsibility, respect, and long-term career growth within a supportive company culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performance team serving customers.
- Review job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed.
- Assess job site conditions and set forth plans, assigning duties to the crew.
- Install products and services with the support of a national team.
- Innovate and troubleshoot situations to meet company standards and timetables.
- Provide superior quality and service to customers.
- Ensure all final documentation is completed accurately.
- Supervise the crew and provide on-the-job training.
- Drive the company-provided vehicle to and from the job site daily.
- Report to work on time each working day.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player.
- Experience leading crews or small teams.
- Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
- Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
- Ability to enter crawl spaces and other confined areas.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor.
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects.
- Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- Ability to effectively lift and carry heavy loads.
- Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
- Ability to quickly move arms and legs.
- Excellent stamina.
- Ability to read reports, data, statistics and information on computer screens.
