About the Role
Scan Design is seeking a Design Consultant for their Boca Raton location. This high-performance sales role involves acting as a brand ambassador and creative visionary, blending interior design expertise with consultative sales techniques to manage projects from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in-store and in-home to identify lifestyle needs, aesthetic preferences, and budget requirements.
- Develop comprehensive floor plans and layouts demonstrating how Scan Design pieces transform a client's environment.
- Select accessories, finishes, lighting, and rugs to create a cohesive, elevated interior.
- Oversee the client journey from introduction through procurement to final white-glove installation.
- Assist in visual merchandising to maintain the showroom as a premier destination for design inspiration.
Requirements
- Proven track record in high-end, relationship-based sales (luxury retail, interior design, or real estate) with an emphasis on building long-term client rapport.
- Self-motivated professional who thrives on achieving sales targets and views peak selling hours (including weekends) as their primary opportunity for financial rewards.
- Demonstrated ability to visualize, conceptualize, and communicate sophisticated interior layouts and multi-functional space solutions.
- Prior experience in Interior Design, Home Staging, or Luxury Retail is highly preferred.
- Professional familiarity with design tools (Floor Planner, AutoCAD, etc.) to produce accurate and compelling visual proposals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the poise and professionalism required to represent a legacy brand.
- Candidates must be available for regular Saturday and Sunday shifts, holiday events, and consistent coverage during showroom operating hours.
- All candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
