About the Role
IFR is seeking a credit market reporter to cover breaking news and major themes across fixed income markets, delivering valuable and insightful content for clients on IFR's website, magazine, and Workspace LSEG platforms. This is a six-month paternity leave cover position.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit high-quality content for IFR Magazine and LSEG’s Workspace platform.
- Deliver insightful, timely coverage of fixed-income markets, with a focus on clarity and impact.
- Break news and provide real-time updates on deals, pricing, and market trends.
- Work alongside a team of credit market reporters, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure consistent, engaging coverage.
- Contribute to a variety of LSEG publications and platforms, including real-time services.
Requirements
- A strong editorial background with experience in financial journalism.
- A proactive storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative leader who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
- A commitment to accuracy, integrity, and thoughtful analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with senior bankers, investors, and other participants in the bond market.
