About the Role
The Data & Analytics team within Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) at Berkeley Research Group (BRG) seeks a motivated problem solver to help healthcare organizations transform revenue cycle operations using advanced analytics and data engineering. This role involves managing engagement work streams, designing analyses, developing client deliverables, and managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
- Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
- Generate client deliverables and make valuable contributions to expert reports.
- Manage client relationships and communicate results and work product as appropriate.
- Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions.
- Participate in group practice meetings, contribute to business development initiatives and office functions such as staff training and recruiting.
- Prioritize assignments and responsibilities in order to meet goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent in the areas of analytics, computer science, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, public health, engineering, or other practice-related subjects
- 3+ years of work experience with a focus on workforce productivity analytics and/or managed care data analytics development.
- Proven capability with SQL/Snowflake and Tableau/Power BI is necessary.
- Knowledge and experience with other analytical software and languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, MS Access, Alteryx, Databricks) is beneficial.
- A willingness to expand those capabilities is helpful.
- Desire and ability to manage processes and other consultants.
- Commitment to producing high quality analysis and attention to details.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to work independently and within a team environment.
- Willing to travel up to 20%, depending on project requirements and client expectations.
- Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
