About the Role
Phoenix Mechanical is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead our HVAC Service & Installation teams in Elmsford, NY. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to directly influence customer satisfaction, employee development, operational efficiency, and company growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for HVAC Service & Installation departments
- Manage and develop field technicians, installers, and supervisors
- Oversee scheduling, workload forecasting, staffing, and installation coordination
- Drive customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns effectively
- Monitor key performance and productivity metrics
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory, equipment ordering, and ductwork fabrication
- Ensure safe and efficient job-site operations
- Partner with Field Service Support to improve technician performance and efficiency
- Assist with performance reviews and operational reporting
- Work closely with the President/General Manager on strategy and company initiatives
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of leadership/management experience preferred
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC or plumbing industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing service and/or installation teams highly desirable
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus
