About the Role
This senior individual contributor role focuses on Braze's Decisioning Studio, a technically demanding and strategically consequential product area. You will own the product marketing for Decisioning Studio, including positioning, messaging, launch strategy, competitive strategy, and field narrative, acting as a peer to other Product Marketing Managers and shaping the overarching product story.
Responsibilities
- Own Decisioning Studio product marketing, including positioning, messaging architecture, launch strategy and execution, competitive strategy, pricing and packaging input, and the field narrative.
- Develop technical audience credibility, owning how Braze explains decisioning to data engineers, architects, platform owners, and technical evaluators.
- Develop competitive strategy for decisioning and AI-driven personalization, turning market knowledge into positioning that wins deals.
- Contribute to the Data & AI portfolio narrative by partnering with PMMs owning other products to build a cohesive story.
- Influence the roadmap by partnering with Product Management and Engineering as a strategic peer, bringing market and customer insights.
- Translate complex technology into clear, concise language for various audiences.
- Run product launches from positioning through field readiness and build sustained adoption motions.
- Build and own the marketing plan for your products, partnering with demand, brand, and communication teams.
- Provide input on pricing and packaging for decisioning capabilities, ensuring alignment with customers and the field.
- Enable the field (Sales, Solutions Consulting, CS) to sell technical products confidently through narratives, plays, and assets.
- Engage with customers and analysts to gather insights for positioning, enablement, and roadmap discussions.
- Act as a market thought leader through content creation and event speaking.
- Utilize AI as a practitioner in your work and for marketing AI products.
- Execute without direct authority by building trust and relationships across departments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Marketing experience, with a strong background in technical and AI products.
- Fluency in the enterprise AI landscape, including large language models, agentic AI, AI infrastructure, and the evolving ecosystem of AI tools and platforms.
- Proven track record of developing product positioning and messaging that resonates with technical audiences and accelerates revenue in competitive markets.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand and shape roadmap strategy through market and customer insight.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Data-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to measure the impact of PMM programs on pipeline and win rates.
- Demonstrated ability to operate across functions and execute without direct authority in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
- Experience in AI products, cloud data platforms, business intelligence, or analytics software (Nice to Have).
- Experience in the martech or customer engagement space, with command of the competitive landscape and AI's impact on marketing (Nice to Have).
- Experience with pricing and packaging, particularly for AI or consumption-based products (Nice to Have).
- Experience building field enablement that gets adopted and used (Nice to Have).
- Experience working with industry analysts on technical product categories (Nice to Have).
- Experience with decisioning, recommendation systems, personalization engines, or experimentation platforms (Nice to Have).

Salary/Compensations
- For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $134,000 and $190,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $154,000 and $220,000/year (including bonus or commission).
