About the Role
Resource Label Group is seeking a 1st Shift Packer to join their Finishing Department. This role involves packing and preparing packages for shipment, contributing to the company's technology-driven culture focused on delivering creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Receive job assignments and read job specifications.
- Review job jackets to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are met.
- Create packing slips and bills of lading using the ERP system.
- Operate a manual pallet jack to move pallets of boxes.
- Inspect products for quality, including color, size, die cut, perforations, print, and quantity.
- Assist with cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs.
- Complete job paperwork and package finished goods for customer shipment.
- Maintain clear and organized work areas and adhere to housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to read a ruler.
- Basic computer skills.

- Ability to stand, talk, and hear regularly.
- Ability to walk and use hands to handle or feel occasionally.
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.
