About the Role

The Private Client Tax Manager role involves a mix of personal tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse portfolio of clients, many with international affairs. You will manage client relationships, oversee tax compliance, and contribute to advisory projects under the guidance of directors and partners. This position offers opportunities for development within an established private client tax team and involvement in business development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee tax compliance services for client portfolio, including information receipt, review of tax returns, submission to HMRC, and management of WIP/Billing.
  • Provide advisory work to clients, collaborating with directors and partners.
  • Develop within the private client tax team and contribute to its strong client base.
  • Engage in business development and marketing opportunities.
  • Identify marketing opportunities, write tax articles, and create internal technical updates.
  • Identify planning opportunities from existing and potential clients.
  • Provide internal tax technical support to partners, tax team members, and other personnel.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with ATT and CTA qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience within a UK professional services firm.
  • Good experience working with international private clients on advisory work.
  • Strong client portfolio management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, preferably with a good working knowledge of Digita.
  • Ability to deal with conflicting demands.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Self-motivation and ability to be a good team player.
  • Highly motivated and committed to delivering excellent client service.
