About the Role
As our Engineer II - Civil, you’ll be joining our growing civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to develop a diverse range of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV, Wind).
Responsibilities
- Work under a Project Lead (PE) on multi-discipline projects.
- Interact directly with internal hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering teams.
- Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, and grading features to produce engineered construction plans with minimal oversight.
- Complete stormwater and E&S calculations to ensure quality standards are met for Engineers to stamp construction drawings and reports.
- Engage in multiple projects to complete successful requirement deliveries.
- Deal with regulatory agencies and review professionals to assist with permitting and coordination.
- Perform site visits to validate site constraints and civil design solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- FE or EIT is strongly encouraged.
- Professional Engineer is nice to have.
- Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D, HydroCAD strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS, GIS, PV CASE nice to have.
- Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or battery storage is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience.
