About the Role
North Six is seeking a highly experienced Senior Producer for its London production team. This role requires fluency in fashion production, a strong track record in leading travel productions and campaign films, and the ability to manage high-profile client relationships and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of location and travel shoots, campaign films, and branded content.
- Guide creative and production decisions with deep understanding of fashion, beauty, and luxury content.
- Collaborate with PR and communications teams to align production with press and media requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts throughout production.
- Build, manage, and reconcile production budgets for complex projects, including international travel.
- Develop production schedules and shoot plans, ensuring all workstreams are on track.
- Source, brief, and book crew, directors, talent, locations, and suppliers.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with freelancers, suppliers, and talent.
- Manage on-set logistics and troubleshoot issues in real time for smooth and safe shoots.
- Ensure full production compliance with health & safety, insurance, licensing, and legal requirements.
- Oversee post-production, coordinating with editors, colourists, and sound partners.
- Mentor and support Producers and Junior Producers, assisting the Head of Production with resourcing and process improvement.
- Maintain and grow a network of crew, directors, and suppliers, sharing knowledge of trends and techniques.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior Producer or Producer in a production company, creative/content agency, or in-house studio.
- Significant experience in fashion, beauty, or luxury production.
- Genuine fluency in fashion, understanding its language, taste level, and references.
- Proven track record in producing location and travel jobs, including international logistics, permits, and crewing.
- Proven track record producing motion/moving image work (campaign films, branded video, social content) and stills.
- Experience working with PR and communications teams, understanding how press and media requirements influence production planning.
- Strong track record managing production budgets and schedules with excellent financial and commercial acumen.
- Confident negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to lead multiple productions simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Solid working knowledge of health & safety and production compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients.
- An established network of crew, talent, and supplier contacts across fashion and motion content, including international contacts.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
